Anxiety & stress
Finding steadier ground when worry, pressure or overwhelm take over.
Co. Clare Online
A quiet place to find your way forward.
Thoughtful, confidential therapy with Rory Francis, BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Welcome
Therapy can offer room to slow down and hear yourself more clearly. Together, we can look at what feels difficult, make sense of familiar patterns, and explore what change might look like for you.
The work is collaborative, respectful and shaped around the person you are—not a formula you need to fit.
Therapy with Rory
People come to therapy for many reasons. You may be facing a clear difficulty, or simply know that something no longer feels right.
Finding steadier ground when worry, pressure or overwhelm take over.
Making space for grief, transitions and the endings we did not choose.
Understanding heaviness, disconnection and a loss of energy or meaning.
Exploring boundaries, belonging and the patterns that shape connection.
Meeting yourself with more clarity, compassion and confidence.
Gently making sense of experiences that continue to affect the present.
“Change begins with the experience of being heard.”
The approach
A warm, non-judgemental working relationship is at the heart of meaningful therapy. We begin by creating a space where you can be honest and feel met as you are.
Different people need different things. The pace and focus of the work are shaped together, with room for both reflection and practical ways of responding.
Your past can help us understand the present, while therapy also supports you to recognise choices and build a life that feels more your own.

You do not need a diagnosis or a perfectly clear goal. A first conversation can help you decide whether talking things through in therapy feels like a useful next step.
It is a chance to talk about what has brought you, what you hope for, and any questions you have. You can get a sense of Rory’s way of working before deciding how you would like to continue.
Confidentiality is central to therapy. Its boundaries and the limited exceptions to it will be discussed clearly before the work begins.
